Scatter in me the seeds

Of a thousand saplings.
Let grow a grassy heaven.
On my brow: a sun.
This bliss is yours, Living
World, and alone it endures.
Life is a gift. Bliss and joy are ours. Heaven is ours. Our actions create heaven. This makes deep sense to me in the way that nature makes sense. My high school religion teacher taught us that heaven is living in the presence of God. (Within that, heaven can happen in this life or beyond.) I believe that to be true. Heaven is living in the presence of Love. In that way, heaven is simply loving one another. It is not something we have to wait for or earn. It is not some great mountain we have to climb. Is not a hidden secret that requires the wisdom of sages or prophets. By sowing the seeds of love, we sing nature’s aria. We sing a unique song that only we can sing. Our song completes and sustains the Living World.
