On Being Listening Party — Celebrating 20 Years
I have listened to On Being for years. It was the first podcast I followed before I knew what podcasts were. It has been church and rock. It has been friend and secret knower. It has been muse and artist. It has been communion with the what if and not yet. It has been balm when questions have rubbed the vulnerable parts of me raw. It has been music when I have needed to quiet all the noise. It has been mana during darkness and light.
I wrote about several episodes in a previous Weekly Wide Awake. This episode is the Listening Party hosted on the occasion of On Being’s 20th anniversary/reimagining. It is a celebration of the voices and insight gleaned from the past and a nod to the new direction On Being will take in the upcoming future.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. On Being.
