Wait till she smiles
Any sight lovelier? Wait till she smiles
Oliver St. John Gadgetry
The world needs more smiles — heart-singing, toe-tingling, storm-cloud parting, kindness-spreading, compassion-building, grace-expanding, anxiety-releasing, peace-causing, cruelty-ceasing, love-exploding smiles. The kind of smiles that happen when a puppy rolls over on her back and waits to have her belly rubbed, or when a baby slowly bats his eyelashes in absolute celebration of his awesomeness, or when your grandmother hugs you after your dance recital, or when you cross a finish line, or when you meet a deadline, or when you hug someone you love, or when you accomplish something wonderful that reminds you that you can get shit done, or when you are bursting with whatever makes you burst.
There is no sight lovelier than that smile. It’s infectious. It’s miraculous. It’s perfection. It’s universal. It’s personal. It shifts things. It’s beginning and end. It’s beauty and truth. It’s stillness and knowing.
