Healthy Choices Caring Communities: A Story of Relationships

Fulton County, Ohio has achieved prevention success in recent years. The community made progress toward reducing the misuse of prescription drugs. The community brought science, policy, and practice together to improve the health of our neighbors. The community carried a tremendous weight — particularly in our hospitals, schools, and homes — with compassion and strength. We want to tell a story that illustrates a connection between these successes. We want to tell the story of relationships. Relationships evolve when we tend them. Relationships thrive when we find our people. Relationships strengthen when we live with the people we serve. This is the story of how relationships positively impact public health outcomes.
