Weekly Wide-Awake: Let’s Fall In Love
These days everything seems so fake,

Even the words of love comes with asterisk conditions apply
That the beautiful words-
“Let’s fall in love….. “
Seems less precious these days.
I want reclaim the preciousness of falling in love. By that I mean I want to fall in love in big and miraculous ways. I want to fall in love with amazement. I want falling in love to be so common that we live in a cycle of mountain top experiences where we go from peak to peak not missing a moment. I want falling in love to be real in the way that my heart and head don’t debate, safety and comfort are the core, and joy is the heartbeat.
I refuse to believe that in a world where falling in love is common, falling in love losses something. Not in my world. In my world it all just gets bigger and sweeter and more precious. I my world “Let’s fall in love” becomes a perpetual invitation to something more. To experience life close to the bone. To breathe at higher altitudes. To find an edge and explore. To build and not tear down. To imagine and create. To say “yes.”
