Emily Dickinson
In Dickinson’s view, Love happens when Two are gathered. We can climb higher. We can cross deep waters. We can see Eternity. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
I understand Two to mean that wherever two or more are gathered, there is Love. I believe in that kind of Love. That is the Love that is constant like the seasons and abiding like the sun. That is the Love that multiplies exponentially when shared. That is the Love that changes hearts and minds That is the fierce Love that can be called Eternity.
Love is big enough to be all that for me.
