More About Roslyn Wertheimer
Roslyn Wertheimer graduated from Skidmore College in 2016 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Music. During her time in college, she served as a social media intern for Skidmore’s Marketing & Communications offices, where she maintained and created content for a variety of the college’s official social media platforms and implemented an initiative for tracking new alumni social media engagement. From this experience, Roslyn realized that her passion for social media lay in the potential for community building–even when it happened online. Just two days after graduating, Roslyn became the marketing coordinator for Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, in Katonah, New York, where her role focuses on social media management, digital and print advertising, and digital photography.
A classically trained trombonist, Roslyn spent a majority of her time in high school and college participating in a variety of music groups. In her free time, she continues practicing her love for digital photography, and on the weekends, you can usually find her supporting friends’ music careers in small venues around New York City. Roslyn is on the board of the Youth Wind Ensemble of Westchester serving as their head of marketing, and currently resides in her hometown of Ossining, New York.
