Let me find comfort, solace, and light in times of conflict, doubt, and darkness.

Let me choose forgiveness, humility, and compassion in times of anger, separation, and blindness.

Make me an instrument of peace.

Let me know hope, faith, and courage in times of cynicism, despair, and fear.

Make me an instrument of peace.

Let me step forward, toward quiet, in love, in times of sadness, confusion, and noise.

Make me an instrument of peace.

Let my peace ring out, wash away, sing sweetly, shine brightly, shake firmament, remove clouds, part waters, climb mountains, build bridges, and create masterpieces. Make my life a prayer.
