Weekly Wide-Awake: The Green Traffic Light
“April prepares her green traffic light and the world thinks ‘Go.’”
Christopher Morley
I am ready for April. I am ready for Spring in all her glory to say “Go.” Go toward breath and light. Go toward acceptance and peace. Go toward open hands and heart.
I am ready for the universal green light that balances work and rest. I am ready for the universal green light that creates soft edges and safe places to land. I am ready for the universal green light that knows equanimity and perfect time. I am ready for the universal green light that knows imagination and edge.
Springs means go like the butterfly who leaves her cocoon. Spring means go like the foal who learns to walk and run. Spring means go like daylight that lengthens and extends and stretches. Spring means go like “Yes” and “I forgive you.” and “I love you.” mean go. Spring means go like curiosity and awe.
