Weekly Wide-Awake: Turner syndrome Awareness
February is Turner syndrome Awareness Month. I have pulled together a few posts I have written over the years about Turner syndrome to mark the occasion. I spent most of my life in silence about my diagnosis. So, talking and writing about it did not come easy. It still is a bit uncomfortable to discuss. Writing about it has gotten easier over the years. It tests my vulnerability muscles each time I bring it up. I believe that It is important to talk about Turner syndrome. I believe it is important to discuss living with chronic conditions. I believe it is important to discuss infertility, difference, and mortality. I believe in sharing our individual stories our universal connectedness is found.
